The project of a modern single-family house is based on a pragmatic floor plan organization within the two-story volume of a monolithic gable-roofed structure, where uniform materiality and a refined architectural articulation create a timeless aesthetic. The roof, without overhangs, further emphasizes the simplicity yet modern character of the building, while strategically designed open corners introduce both functional and visual dynamism to the space. By subtracting corners at the ground floor level, covered areas are created for a terrace and parking, enhancing living comfort and establishing a stronger connection between the interior and exterior spaces.
The material concept of the building combines a classic plastered facade with facade panels, contributing to the house’s distinct character. Light-colored brick cladding under the canopies at the ground floor level adds visual warmth and textural variety, while varying plaster textures and facade joints on the upper floor create a subtle interplay of shadows and a rich facade composition. With its thoughtful design, carefully selected materials, and functional layout, this modern gable-roofed house offers a contemporary and comfortable living environment tailored to the needs of a modern family
