As architects, we approached the finalization of the house prior to construction, allowing for floor plan changes in collaboration with the clients, bringing the house closer to their desired lifestyle. On the ground floor, a spacious central living area dominates the floor plan, with a kitchen designed as a furniture element featuring hidden doors leading to a convenient pantry. The fireplace becomes a central element, surrounded by the same cladding as the kitchen backsplash and designed as a bench.
The upper floor underwent significant reorganization, particularly in the dedicated sleeping areas. This resulted in a new design for the en-suite bedroom, featuring a connected sleeping area, wardrobe, and luxurious bathroom. The bathroom is integrated into the bedroom, with a glass wall separating the shower. Additionally, a separate laundry room and an extra bathroom were added on the upper floor near the children's rooms. The interior design concept focused on a combination of tactile surfaces with a prominent vertical wooden pattern and a mix of gray colors. The neutral material palette is complemented by vibrant accents in the furnishings.
