The location of the house is in a distinctly rural village environment. The proposed design aims to reinterpret traditional village architecture in a modern way in terms of its exterior appearance, while allowing for a contemporary floor plan that suits modern living. The classic single-story outline of the house with a gabled roof is executed with a light limestone plaster reminiscent of the traditional construction of the area and alternating wooden cladding.
The central space is visually highlighted by a central fire place. Large windows on the ground floor illuminate the living areas and offer views of the green landscape. The modern floor plan design with large window surfaces is softened by wooden wall cladding, emphasizing a sense of homeliness.
