Nestled on a scenic hillside along the Slovenian coast, this residential development comprises four elegantly designed villas. The steep terrain inspired a architectural approach that seamlessly integrates the buildings into the landscape, with carefully articulated retaining walls enhancing the overall composition. At the heart of the design lies a central courtyard, accessible from each villa, creating a shared yet intimate outdoor space. Partially embedded into the hillside, each villa features terraces on every level, inviting residents to enjoy panoramic views of the sea and surrounding nature.
The architectural composition is defined by orthogonal volumes crafted from natural materials, enriched with covered terraces and pergolas that form a harmonious blend of aesthetics and function. Each house is designed with dual orientation, living areas feature large glazed openings facing the sea and olive groves, while the bedrooms are oriented toward the olive grove. The proposed material palette is subtle and refined, using earthy tones that connect the interior spaces with the surrounding landscape.
