The challenge of the project was to design two residential units within a semi-detached house on an elongated plot, while eliminating the need for a hallway in order to maximize the usable area. On the ground floor, our main focus was on establishing seamless connectivity between the interior and exterior spaces, integrating multiple options for transition from the living areas to the outdoor environment. Furthermore, the design of the living spaces prioritized flexibility, providing future owners with ample opportunities for personalization.
In terms of the external appearance, the house features a restrained composition with a simple plaster finish on the facade. The composition of window openings reflects the internal organization of the house, resulting in a cohesive visual appearance that harmoniously blends the architectural elements together.
